Half term food support

Where can children eat for free in Lincoln?

A big thank you to businesses, foodbanks and volunteers around Lincoln who provided food support to children and families this half term. If you would like to ask government to extend provision in time for the Christmas holiday, Marcus Rashford’s petition (which is based on recommendations from the National Food Strategy) is here.

After the government decided not to provide food to children during half term, businesses and charities have stepped up to offer support to families in Lincoln.

Please check links in the map for full details – some are offering food to children who would normally receive free school meals; many are offering food to all families who needs it.

Our local Foodbanks are offering half term help to anyone who requests it.

Local women Gemma and Paris are offering to make and delivery packed lunches to kids who need it in Lincoln.

Please get in touch if you are aware of a business or organisation offering food support to families this week if they are not yet on the map. Email me.
