We have been lucky enough at the LFP to have been awarded a grant of £10,000 from the Big Lottery Community Fund.
This funding is to assist in coordinating the activities of the LFP over the coming year.
It will help us make better progress in our four main projects – developing a central Food Hub for the City to redistribute surplus food to those in food poverty; the Feeding Tariff which is to develop renewable energy projects, the income from which will support growing projects and the food banks; working to secure the future of Mint Lane and its ‘friendship’ waste food café; and Nourishing Lincoln which has a number of proposals to improve people’s understanding of food in the City.

We will also be working to increase our membership and improve our marketing so that more people in the City can enjoy fairer, healthier and greener food. So a big thank you to the Big Lottery!
